![]() ![]() Ab Panelbuilder32 Software Download Back UsingI think PVC files are the application file and PVD files what is downloaded to the terminal (it might be vice versa - its been a while since I used one). PVA files are the files that are actually created by PB32 and downloaded to the terminal. You should be able to upload and import them into your PB32 software and then create a PBA file (the application file). Keep in mind that Panelbuilder is extremely version sensitive. I have found that the message you are getting usually means the application was created on a higher numbered version than what you are currently using. The version of PB32 I have is 3.70. I think that is the latest. By the way, 1400E sw can only be used to program the Enhanced PV terminals (1000e, 1200e and 1400e)the Standard 1400 terminals require PB32. More likely the terminal firmware is newer than your PanelBuilder revision (which revs of fw and sw do you have) or the applications have their upload data stripped out (sometimes done to conserve memory) and cannot be reconstituted into.PBA (uncompiled) files. One strange thing that was happening, was, when the Panelbuilder was shut down, it crashed with a dialog box saying out of memory, the program then had to be CTRL-ALT-DELed to be shut down from the task manager. After the complete reinstallation, the two errant PV1000 files then opened for editing along with the other three that did previously. This solution seems to defy explanation, why three opening, but not the other two. ABB Achieves Scalable Connectivity With New Industrial-Scale Wireless Condition Monitoring Solution.
